i was told tiger wears red in honor of michael jordan and the chicago bulls, as they were the best finishers in the nba. i was told this by my government teacher and i took it as fact. he is full of weird, pointless information like that. i do not know where he got it from.

Very interesting perspective, Ian. It makes sense also. Yet I do believe the "real" reason is from his mother and her beliefs. An earlier poster mentioned this. Yet it is fascinating how red is the most dominant color in sports. Even the Chicago Bulls wore red as their base color.

And look at this years Stanley Cup winner's Detroit Red Wings...Ok, as I post this it's a bit early to be handing them the cup but it's all but over in my opinion...
