Tiger states on his own website that he wears red on Sundays because his mom told him to. As you may know, Kultida Woods was born in Thailand. In Thai traditions, there is an astrological rule that assigns color for each day of the week. The color is assigned based on the color of the God who protects the day. The God of Sunday is Surya which has red color. Thais consider it good luck to wear red on Sundays. You can sometimes (though not as often) see Tiger wearing the Colors of the Day Purple on Saturdays, Light Blue on Fridays, Orange on Thursdays, and Light Green or Gray on Wednesdays.
